The book titled “Jodie & Cathy: The Princess and the Flea”, written by Kit and her friend Siew Fern, will be officially released on 21st July 2006. It’s half-fiction, half-autobiography.

Kit Chan (simplified Chinese: 陈洁仪; traditional Chinese: 陳潔儀; pinyin: Chén Jiéyí) (born September 15, 1972) was the pioneer generation of Singaporean singers to successfully break into the international market, marked in particular by her breakthrough into the competitive and highly critical Taiwanese market.
Unarguably one of the most established local singers, Kit Chan is often dubbed as Singapore’s “national treasure” for good reasons. Since her debut in 1993, she has proven herself in many diversified areas – singing, theatre, television drama, poetry, song writing, community work, etc.

look out for her in the papers and mags too – shin min, lianhe wanbao, Today, Icon mag, U Weekly, Style mag… oh and she’ll be on Rea! Talk on 30 or 31 July, that one not very sure of exact date. most importantly, GET THE BOOK!

Real Talk is the TV talk show with Diana Ser, Kit’s a guest on an upcoming episode… topic is being S’porean, to link with Nat’l Day.
dunno details abt Icon and Style, but I guess it shld be in the Aug issue for both. think there’s more intvws coming up, including radio too.

Is the book available in most major bookstores like ‘Popular’? I’ve been to popular, but the book was not listed.. Hopefully I can find the book at Borders or Times.. Hmm.. =)

Jean > you can get the book at Kit’s shop “Flowers at the Attic” at Heeren for $18.
Else you can call popular up and check which outlets stock the book cos’ I think some don’t. Otherwise Borders and Times should have it too. But it should be $20 at the book stalls.

Hmm.. Okay… But erm… Anybody knows the exact location of Heereen? I’ve not been to Heereen for the longest of time. I only know how to get to the Cinelesiure.. Thanks a lot… I will go check out the Times at tampines.. =)
