The first ever Kit Cat Club party was held at Dixie’s Minigolf on 29th October this year, and what made it SO special was that Kit (her Highness) was there!!!!!! While we were rehearsing the cheer to welcome Kit in, we received news that Kit was coming, and all of us perked up, not that we weren’t already excited.... To our rendition of a cheer that was adapted from a cheer that Kit herself wrote back in secondary school, Kit walked in, waving to us. Gasp! She was wearing our fan club T-shirt!! That was a real surprise as we had given her a T-shirt about a year back, but we really didn’t ever think that she’d wear the shirt.....

     The party kicked off with us introducing ourselves coz Kit wanted to get to know us better and she asked us to state our passion. After we made our introductions, we proceeded outside the function room to the mini golfing area to play games. We were divided into 2 groups, and Kit took part too~!!! She seemed more hyped up about it (and more professional) than anyone of us there. Charades and golf were played together. Jacqueline and Amy stole the limelight by scoring the last few crucial holes. And the winners of that night was... *drumroll*... Kit’s group~!!! They had a higher morale I guess, with Kit cheering endlessly in the background whenever anyone was about to putt. After the game, it was makan time! Halfway through, the committee provided some (cheap) entertainment by singing "If We Hold On Together". And hey, it took us 2 days to learn the entire song okaaay.. and 20 minutes of rehearsal before the party in a last dash to get our lines right.

     We also presented Kit with her really belated birthday present - the birthday wishes which we complied. We gave tokens of appreciation to all of Kit’s colleagues (all those people whom we always see running around, but never actively acknowledged). Boy, were they surprised~! Kit also surprised us by bringing in a cake with the words "Kit Cat Club - Together At Last" on it. No wonder she kept arguing with Airene about buying a cake, She even threatened to throw Airene outta the party if Airene bought a cake.We sang a Happy Birthday song, to US~! The cake cutting session was followed by a photo-taking session. Kit was most obliging and took photos with everyone present.Soon after, Kit had to leave *sob sob* *sniffle*
