- Plays the young Empress Dowager Cixi in musical “The Forbidden City; ­Portrait of an Empress” for SRT's 10 year anniversary 2003

- Performed with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in 2002 as a tribute to Dick Lee’s musical hits.
- Filmed her first Mandarin drama serial “Cash is King”, co-starring veteran artistes such as Chin Han from Taiwan and Michelle Yim from Hong Kong in 2001.
- Staged her first solo concert titled “That’s Kit concert 2001” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 9 June 2001.
- Invited by the National Youth Council to sit on the Seventh NYC Council in 2001.
- Conferred the Singapore Youth Award (Individual) 2001.
- Appointed by the National Youth Council as the Youth Ambassador of 2001.
- Appointed by the National Youth Council as the Youth Ambassador of 2000.
- First recipient of the HER WORLD “Young Women Achiever Award”.

- Appointed by the Ministry of Information & the Arts (MITA) as spokesperson for the “Speak Mandarin Campaign 1997-8”, as well as appeared and sang for its publicity ad.
- Lead vocalist for “Count On Me Singapore” in “Sing Singapore `90” CD compilation.
- First local celebrity to endorse the prestigious Swiss-made Ebel timepieces.
- First local celebrity to endorse a comic character ­ Kit was the inspiration behind “Kitstuff”, a comic book launched by the creators of Mr Kiasu (Comix Factory).
- Sang the corporate theme songs of Television Corporation of Singapore (TCS) Channel 8, and the station jingles for Radio Corporation of Singapore (RCS) station yes 933 FM.

Overseas
- One of the leads in the Dutch-Hong Kong production “East Meets West” musical concert in Hong Kong in 2002.

- Invited to perform at the Golden Horse Awards held in Taiwan in Dec 2001; and charmed audiences all over with her moving rendition of  葬心 (Bury the Heart) ­ the theme song of movie “Ruan Ling Yu” (阮玲玉).

- Female lead for Hong Kong popular TV serial “Healing Hands II” in year 2000.
- Female lead for “The Legend” - a musical based on famous Chinese songstress, the late Teresa Teng. The musical ran for 12 nights at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre in Nov 1998.
- Female lead for Asia’s first-ever Cantonese musical “Snow.Wolf.Lake.”, starring with superstars Jacky Cheung & Sandy Lam, and performing for 50 shows staged in both Hong Kong & Singapore in 1997.
- First foreign female artiste to receive the award for “World Best Chinese Female Artiste” at the 8th Gold Hit Awards in Taiwan in 1997.
- Only foreign performer at Hong Kong’s first beauty pageant since the 1997 Hand Over, performing alongside Hong Kong pop idols Aaron Kwok and Kelly Chen.
- One of the first local artistes to succeed in the regional Chinese pop scene - her hit song “Heartache” stayed on the Taiwan pop charts for 20 weeks in 1994.

COMMUNITY / CHARITY ACTIVITIES

- Interacted with children recuperating at the Kandang Kerbau Hospital (KK) under the National Youth Council ­ KK Service Learning Project (a project to ease the children¹s pain and quicken their recovery through play activities) in Dec 2001.
- As a Singapore Youth Award (2001) recipient, she shared her experiences and zest for life at the library as part of the “Inspiring Youths@Libraries” series in Dec 2001.
- Gave a talk on volunteerism at Bishan ITE, Chinese High and DBS.
- Singapore Youth Ambassador for 1999, 2000 & 2001.
- Led a group of Singaporean students to Cambodia with World Vision for hands-on community services to build a playground and latrines.
- Participated in “Voices For Hospice” in Oct 2000 to raise funds for Singapore Hospice.                   
- Visited famine areas of Ethiopia, Africa with World Vision in August 2000.
- Visited famine areas of Cambodia with World Vision in December 2000.
- Earth-Fest Œ99 by Singapore Environment Council in November 1999.
- Adoption of Junior Ducklings, a fund raising event for Singapore Children’s Society, Singapore Sports Council for the Disabled, Lions Home for the Elders, The Singapore Scouts Association and The Singapore Millennial Trust.
- AWARE (The Association of Women for Action and Research) “Walk n Roll” Concert in October 1999.
- Fund raising concert for the Victims of Earthquake in Taiwan organised by Mandarin Junior Chamber of Singapore in October 1999.
